Tree! (nest included)

We got a Christmas tree, a spunky little guy. Then we had to make a tree stand! THEN, finally.... everything is set. And we didn't have any official decorations, so we had to make do.

Massachusetts and Kentucky!

This overlooks the Connecticut River!-- it was beautiful!

This was the next weekend: This is near the children's the museum, I was hanging out Joey's friend, Lance, we found this friend.

I made everyone come back!

This is the only nice picture I took at the wedding.. sorry.

This happened before KY and Mass!

We went on a "treacherous hike" (it was pretty steep) another hike checked off of the list from:

I left the camera in the car... but this is what the internet says it looks like:

This is what joey looked like after the hike, book in hand:

Just (finally!) got around to adding some new pictures.... I haven't taken too many pictures with my camera lately, a lot of these are from a friend's camera.

BUT I just walked home with a nice spring breeze no snow in sight, only a cardigan(a nice thick cardigan, but only a cardigan nonetheless!

Baking Friendship Bread: We must have used 2 lbs of sugar, 6 lbs of flour, 2 gallons of milk, four dozen eggs.... that little box of sugar was just not enough... Loaf number one of the Friendship bread: Cosme(Joey's roommate) Decided that this was too big an event to not document (really,we used A LOT of Sugar Flour Milk, etc) We were afraid the bread would fill the whole oven! (it didn't)
We only had two loaves.
This was a wonderful little place called the Pump Station in Albany, NY I came down for a weeklong course and perused the local brewery:
Speaking of brews: we got Yuenglin once(not my idea), but I ended up having left over beer and made some beer bread (a la Alton Brown's Recipe, too!)

I was recently cruising around Cortland--- (there was also Home-Tapped and Boiled Maple Syrup this day! in nearby Virgil, NY. While i wandered around Cortland (there was a run that morning), I found this catnapping and trying on shoes)
