aquarium

So, I went to the aquarium with Lisa and Ben. We saw some ugly fish. I love the rainforest/Amazon section, but the rest was cool, too. the amazon had the best lighting, so I only took pics there.

Hurray, frogs! Do you see the frogs?

This was not inside, obviously. It didn't get over 0F today. It was very very very cold. There were, however, ducks hanging out on the frozen edges of the lake. Yup, the lake was frozen. The aquarium is sitting on a little peninsula that juts into the lake, by the way.

We are back inside, looking at fish!

These photos are all out of order.

You can sort of see the city and the lake here. The water was a very pretty blue.

We eventually left and walk down to Randolph for coffee at Intelligentsia Cafe then sandwiches at potbelly's. It was cold. We made it home and Lisa made us some yummy hotchocolate! yumm. I never did appreciate hot chocolate enough until I came here. Now I know. So that pattern is the giant booth sit I was sitting on in Intelligentsia, I thought it was a neat pattern and shape.

That's all I have for now. I will make sure to carry my camera around more. I am putting it in my things to carry around pile right now!

Well, finally I have uploaded/exported and gotten pictures together. Photos are from Thanksgiving to the present....
[sidenote: this has turned into a very vain blog with tons of pictures of me.tsk tsk]
It is VERY cold. high of 0 degrees tomorrow! weee!
But It isn't too bad. I don't have work or class until next Tuesday... just lots of actual school work to do. Inside. without walking around too much!

In the completely wrong order since the uploading thing was not behaving:

Dan and I are waiting for the train to go the Lincoln Park Conservatory. We found greenhouses filled with warmth and awesome plants!

Blanca and I being are being tourists at Cloud Gate in Millennium Park(which is part of Grant Park) This was over Thanksgiving Break

This was taken a few days ago, but is a timeless photograph, this is the coffee shop where I study. Fireplace to right and the counter/fridges with food and sodas near the counter. It is on the second floor of the student center call "Reynold's club" or Hutchinson Commons... I'm not sure which one is the official name of the building
Oh, here is the fireplace in Hollowed Grounds, which I like to refer to as hgngnds.
There are quite a few of these through out this building, actually.
I think Joey got my camera. This was pre-successful study night And the day the scarves were distributed(they were well received.)
